DARMSTADT (GER): The German Athletics Association selected its team for the European Indoor Championships. 15 female and 17 male athletes were nominated. REYKJAVIK (ISL): Former U18 European champion Gudbjorg Jona Bjarnadottir and Kolbeinn Hodur Gunnarsson, both in the 60m, will represent Iceland at the Euro Indoors.

STOCKHOLM (SWE): Andreas Almgren (3000 m) has withdrawn from the European Indoor Championships due to lack of form and performance.
